Nashville Needlework Market 2026 — I'm Back and My Bag is Full
I almost didn't make it to Nashville. The main hotel overbooked and I got bumped. I was not happy about it. At all.
But here's the thing — the hotel they moved me to? Newer, beautiful, wonderful amenities — and fur babies welcome. Meanwhile everyone else was dealing with construction dust. Sometimes getting bumped is actually a win. The only thing missing was Nugget and Noodle. A pet friendly hotel and I didn't have my dogs with me. That is not a mistake I will make twice.
Once I was inside the show, none of it mattered anyway. I got to spend time with some really wonderful people. Tracy Horner was a delight to chat with, and I loved meeting the mother-daughter team — Becky Noland of Lucy Beam and her daughter Megan Shepherd of Lapin Loops, and Becca Murphy of SamBrie Stitches. There is something about this community that just gets me every time. Designers, dyers, shop owners — everyone genuinely excited to talk about the work.
Big news making the rounds? Bigfoot. Becca Murphy's design "Whoop, There It Is" had people buzzing and honestly, rightfully so.
I also attended the Zweigart presentation, which — if you're a fabric person like me — was deeply satisfying.
New designs are coming to the shop. Stay tuned.
